There are currently 6 members of the council: Larry Wiley, Patty Wiley, Judy Park, Terry Park, Lisa Singleton, and Gay Matthews. Lisa Singleton is completing her second consecutive term on the council, and she is not eligible for re-election. Our thanks to Lisa for all that she has done over the last six years not only as Assistant Treasurer, but also as Chair of the Worship and Music Committee.Gay Matthews is completing a term on the council, and she has agreed to run for election for a second term.Welcome to Paul CannonPaul Cannon has agreed to be our new pianist. Mr. Cannon lives in Hillsville, Virginia and is an ordained Presbyterian minister. He has been a church musician for 30 years, and we are looking forward to having him share his talents with us. He will be playing piano for our worship services beginning January 5.Fish Farm ProjectDonations for the fish farm project will be accepted during January. We hope to reach our goal of raising $250 to sponsor a fish farm in a needy community. We hope that moving the study to the church will make it more accessible for everyone, and we hope more people will be able to attend.
