Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS), Bhubaneswar, Odisha was started with only 125 poor tribal children in 1992-93 and now, it is the

largest free residential educational Institution for more than 70,000 poorest of the poor indigenous children and youth in the world (30,000

students pursuing at KISS Bhubaneswar, 20,000 alumni and 20,000 students in the Satellite Centers of KISS at 10 tribal dominated districts

of Odisha). Presently, 30,000 tribal children (out of which 60% are girls) are being imparted holistic education from Class-I to Ph. D along

with vocational training, healthcare and exposure to sports and athletics in the state-of-the-art infrastructure absolutely free of cost.

Applications are invited through Online mode from aspiring poor tribal children belonging to BPL category for admission into

various Honours programmes in UG (B.A, B.Sc, ) focusing on various aspects of Tribal Culture, Philosophy, Heritage, Tribal

Science and Technology, Language and Literature, Tribal Resource Management, Tribal Legal Rights and Jurisprudence. Preference will be

given to the tribal girl students from different parts of the country, for the academic session 2021-22.

study of Tribal Culture, Philosophy, Heritage, Tribal Science and Technology, Linguistics and Literature, Tribal Resource Management,

Tribal Legal Studies and Tribal Rights.
