Looking for dynamic locations and production sites--and an attractive financial incentive? Bring your next film p roject to New Jersey, the birthplace of movie making. Take advantage of the New Jersey Film & Digital Media Tax Credit Program, which offers eligible production companies a 30?35% transferable tax credit on qualified film production expenses. An additional 2% bonus can be earned by developing and executing an approved diversity and inclusion plan. This program encourages film productions to employ the services of women and minority persons in "above-the-line" and "below-the-line" positions. Digital media projects can qualify for a 20?25% tax credit under separate eligibility requirements. What's more, the team at the New Jersey Motion Picture and Television Commission is here to support you through every stage of production.
