Singular or Plural?
Pronouns are substitutes for nouns. A singular pronoun is used to substitute a single noun. A plural pronoun is used to substitute nouns that are plural.
Examples: The bird built his nest out of sticks and feathers. Bird is the singular nouns, and his is the singular pronoun.
The birds built their nests out of sticks and feathers. Birds are the plural nouns and nests are the plural pronouns.
Circle the singular or plural pronoun in each sentence. Next, rewrite the sentences with singular pronouns by replacing them with plural pronouns OR rewrite the sentences with plural pronouns by replacing them with singular pronouns.
