Phoenix Area Freeway Restrictions:

Please Note: Times listed are approximate and subject to change. Some restrictions may end ahead of schedule. Be an alert driver. Slow down and merge safely in work zones and never drive while

impaired.

1 I-17 SB narrowed to one left lane between Daisy Mountain Dr and Pioneer Rd in north Phoenix for resurfacing. I-17 SB onramp at Pioneer Rd closed. Please consider alternate routes or adjusting your travel schedule to avoid heavy traffic during peak travel times. Alternate southbound routes via Anthem Way or Daisy Mtn Dr include SB Gavilan Peak/North Valley parkways to Carefree Hwy to return to I-17. 9 p.m. Friday ? 10 p.m. Saturday (June 5)

2 Loop 101 WB (Pima Freeway) closed between Seventh St and I-17 in north Phoenix for widening project. Loop 101 WB onramp at Cave Creek Rd also closed. Allow extra travel time and expect heavy traffic. Drivers should consider alternate routes including WB Union Hills Dr or WB Deer Valley Rd. 10 p.m. Friday ? 5 a.m. Monday (June 7)

Note: SR 51 NB ramp to Loop 101 WB also closed from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday (June 7). Alternate routes include exiting to NB Black Mountain Blvd and using WB Deer Valley Dr/Rd to I-17 SB to reach Loop 101 beyond freeway closure.

Reminder: Loop 101 WB on-ramp at Cave Creek Rd closed over the weekend.

4 US 60 WB (Superstition Freeway) ramp to I-10 EB closed for barrier wall repair. US 60 WB left two lanes also closed approaching the I-10 interchange. Please allow extra travel time and be prepared to slow down and merge safely. US 60 WB drivers can connect with I-10 EB by exiting to SB Priest Dr and using WB Baseline Rd to I-10. 9 p.m. Friday ? 9 a.m. Saturday (June 5)

5 Central Ave closed in both directions at I-17 south of downtown Phoenix for installation of bridge girders. Local traffic only on Central Ave in areas between I-17 or Buckeye and Broadway roads. Consider using Seventh Ave or 16th St as alternate routes. 10 p.m. Friday ? 5 a.m. Monday (June 7)

Note: This closure also will be in place from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. Monday through Thursday nights (June 7-10)
