Draw a picture of your favourite part of the story. Look at the story below on how to grow a plant. Talk about the pictures with Mum/Dad. Then ask them to read the story to you. What does a plant need to grow? Morning BreakMathsUse the number lines below to count forwards and backwards. You can choose to count up to 10 or 20.Use the number cards that you made before or you can make new ones like the ones below. Mix up the cards and then put them back in order. Can you do this again? Ask mum/dad to take a number away while you close your eyes. Can you say what number is missing? Using the number cards from yesterday and ten small things to count like toy cars, blocks or pasta pieces. Put the cards face down in a pile, then take one and turn it over. Say the number, then count out that many objects. Try to do this with at least 5 numbers. Ask mum/dad to hold up a number card. Can you say the number then hop/clap that many times?
