Revelation 5

THE SEVEN SEALED BOOK

Revelation 5

INTRODUCTION

The songs we know and have heard about heaven are legion. Most of them are scripturally based. Some of them are more based on sentimentality. Some of them ... any resemblance to Scripture is purely coincidental.

In Revelation chapter five we are privileged to witness one of the greatest events in all of eternity. Someone may be inclined to think that is ministerial exaggeration but it is not. In this chapter we see the reason that the Lord Jesus Christ came to this earth. He came to fulfill the will of the Father and because He is the victor He now receives and opens the deed to all of creation. No one else comes close. All the rest of us have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Jesus is sinless. Jesus is perfect. Jesus is the Spotless, Perfect, Sinless Lamb of God.
