Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus and Oreochromis spilurus), cultured and maintained in wet lab facilities of the Mariculture and Fisheries Department (MFD) of Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR), were found to suffer from a persistent but random occurrence of non-infectious abdominal dropsy.
