ArtsToday we are going to get creative using recycling. Look at the photo below. It shows a pear but you can choose any fruit or vegetable you wish. It is made up using collage which is small pieces of paper about stamp size pieces) torn out of old magazines and leaflets. First you need to tear up a magazine and sort the colours. It is fine if it has writing on it – mine does too – but look for the background colours. When you have all your small pieces you need another piece of paper, a pencil and a glue stick.Draw an outline shape of your fruit or vegetable to fill most of the page like mine. The fill it with your collage paper sticking it down carefully so you don’t have gaps. Think what colours you need. Then choose two background colours for the top and bottom of your picture.Have fun and send me a photo of your finished art or put it on Twitter!FrenchThis week we’d like you to research the names of 6 farm animals in french. Draw a simple picture of each animal and write their french name. These links might help you but you can use any site. ................
