Time Management Email Sequence#1Hello friend!Soooo....what did you think of the workbook??Did you open it up and get to work, or did you feel extreme and immediate overwhelm and shut it down?If you got straight to work, virtual high five!If not, no worries, and no judgements, but be honest with the action or inaction and now let's get busy!All?of our actions are fueled by the way we feel, and the way we feel comes from a thought.?So, if you felt extreme and immediate overwhelm and shut down the workbook, it's because you had a thought. ?What was the thought??Our thoughts are the root of everything we do or don't do.?The action we take or the inaction.?The way in which we take our action is also driven by our thoughts.?Whether you are taking crazy frantic action or strategic and inspired action, you are doing so from a thought.Ask yourself...what is my thought??Now ask yourself this question...what would I have to think in order to be inspired to crack open that workbook and get busy!In the next 30 days I will be sending lots of tips and tricks and brain hacks to help you get more done, create more time and next level your results.Enjoy!Click here to learn what it is like to work with me.??Let's Chat#2Hello friend!I am totally operating from the assumption that you have cracked open the workbook and have started doing the work.?If that is you...virtual high five!If that is not you...no worries, and no judgement, my friend.?I am still giving you a time saving tip today!ConstrainYep...either stop doing stuff that does not energize and inspire you, or change your thoughts about the things you are doing.True story...I did this exercise where I became very aware of the things that I did all day long and I gauged whether I was energized by the activity or drained by the activity.?I discovered that when I was faced with the task of emptying the dishwasher, I was drained. ?Turns out, I am not a fan of emptying the dishwasher and yet, I still did it...?almost daily. ?Ask yourself this question...What results can I expect when I do things that suck my energy?Ask yourself this question...How would my results change if I didn't allow?things to suck my energy?It's not just about eliminating things from our life that we don't enjoy, although, that is part of it.? We also have to look at how we look at things and challenge ourselves to look at things differently.I love this quote.?"When I changed the way I look at things, the things I look at changed."What can you outsource and what can you look at differently? What would it mean to your life if your everyday life sucks were actually energizers??What would you have to think in order to change the way that you look at things??I know that answer to that question...your thoughts.This week...become very mindful of what energizes you and what drains you.? Be very aware of what you are doing with your time and how it makes you feel when you do it. ?Then, either constrain from it, outsource it or change the way you look at it. ?Click here?and I will be happy to answer your questions.You might be curious about my dishwasher situation.?I still empty the dishwasher, but I don't give that task the power to drain me...turns out, it was just a thought!XXOOLet's Chat!#3Hello friend!We all have a lot of things on our plates.?And when we tell ourselves we have a lot of things on our plates, it can make us feel overwhelmed and anxious.? We may even worry that we won't get it all done.If you are like me, when I worry about getting things done, I don't show up as my highest and best self.Soooo...Every few days, you will get new time hack or brain hack...a life hack!The last tip was to constrain.? There is a section in the workbook that I talk about saying no to things that don't energize you.?Let me know if you found that useful and if you have been able to identify with things that drain you.Here is the next tip...Batch ProcessThis does require planning and thinking about your?things to do differently, but it's totally worth it.Schedule things that can be done in close proximity to other things that need to be done.?For example, if your dry cleaners is next to your grocery store, do those things on the same day.?If they aren't...fix that.If you are going to cook, meal plan for the week and cook it all at one time. ?If you are shopping, look at your month at a glance and see who else you need to shop for this month.?Knock it all out in one trip.Do all the laundry at once...doing a load a day just drags it out.Here is how many of us do laundry...washing 30 minutes, drying 60 minutes, putting away 7-10 business days!!!Here is how you start...1.? Look at your "things to do" for the month, take inventory of how you spend your time.2.? Organize and schedule the things that are in close proximity to other things.3.? Don't hesitate to eliminate those things that add no value to your life.I hope this is helpful and useful to you.? You are important.?Honoring and valuing your time is important.Here is the next Time Tip...Honor Thy Time!That means you show up on time.?You start on time. You end on time.?You make sure?you are using your time in the most effective way possible.?You become a student of efficiency.?You value your time and the time of mit to honoring your calendar and keeping every task on time.?Don't let your brain talk you out of the task! Be in charge of your time.This does not mean that you need to be doing something every minute of the day.?This means that if you have something scheduled, you honor it.I schedule down time, nothing time, which literally mean NO THINGS!!!Give yourself a buffer between activities.?This will help you catch things that drop into your day unexpectedly. ??Be an "honor thy word and honor thy time" person.?
