I am currently in my final year of high school at St. Albans Secondary College, studying to complete my Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE). My secondary education has consisted of numerous hours of studying and hard work, but I have found a balance between tennis training and studying for school as I believe that both are important in college.Throughout the years, there have been wins and losses. I believe a loss is not really a loss, depending on how you take it. Even though it can be devastating at times, I always walk out of a loss learning something that I would have not learnt from a win, and being determined to come back next time better and stronger. Building on my mental strength is something that I am constantly looking to improve and work on, which has been very helpful in tough and tight situations throughout my career. This year I haven't been able to play any official tournaments due to school commitments, however I have had some match play here and there. My style of play is quite aggressive as I like to make the first move and try to put the ball away when I get opportunities. My serve has become a valuable weapon in my game as my serve frequently pushes my opponents out of the court, leaving me with an open court. I believe I am a strong doubles player, as I enjoy coming to the net and putting the ball away. I always ensure that there is good communication between myself and my partner, because at the end of the day it’s a two-person’s game. Ultimately, I would be honoured to represent, not only myself, but the college and my team with pride. I am hoping for a college team that will support me through everything and also challenge me to constantly improve. Tennis college is a great way that will allow me to grow, and play tennis at a high level whilst receiving a University degree.SPORTING ACHIEVEMENTS Winner of multiple junior tournaments through 12, 14 and 16’s age eventsCompeted in several national tournaments in MelbourneCompeted in several years of school tennisWinner of multiple League team tennis SINGLE RESULTSTournament OpponentWin/LoseScoreUTRAustralian Ranking College Name2018 Victorian Grasscourt ChampionshipKateyln KissackL6-2 6-48180-----------2018 Victorian Hardcourt Championships 15KRhian LlewellynW6-7 6-3 6-28640-----------2018 Victorian Hardcourt Championships 15KMary Ann LiuL6-3 6-3994-----------2018 TCAV AMT PlatinumBonnie DowdingW6-0 6-04748-----------2018 TCAV AMT PlatinumNakisa DjamshidiL6-4 6-31057-----------2018 Mornington Tennis Centre AMT Silver (October)Ella MarshallW6-1 6-0-1586-----------2018 Mornington Tennis Centre AMT Silver (October)Kateyln KissackL6-7 6-2 6-3 8180-----------2018 Tennis World Melbourne Park AMT Clay Court Championship Juliet MckenzieW6-1 6-26367-----------2018 Tennis World Melbourne Park AMT Clay Court Championship Bianca LannazzoneW6-4 2-6 10-78223-----------2018 Tennis World Melbourne Park AMT Clay Court Championship Belle ThompsonW3-6 6-3 10-88201-----------2018 Tennis World Melbourne Park AMT Clay Court Championship Kateyln KissackW6-3 6-48180-----------2018 Tennis World Melbourne Park AMT Clay Court Championship Erica LaytonL7-6 2-6 14-129117-----------2018 Tennis World AMT Silver (Ladies Only)Jessica LekawaW6-1 6-2 7---------------2018 Tennis World AMT Silver (Ladies Only)Sarah PrescottW6-0 6-06323-----------2018 Tennis World AMT Silver (Ladies Only)Jihee LeeL6-0 6-110232-----------2018 Tennis world AMT Bronze July (No.2) Erica Layton W6-4 1-0Retired9117-----------2018 Tennis world AMT Bronze July (No.2) Abbey RumbleW6-1 6-06668-----------2018 Tennis world AMT Bronze July (No.2) Alexandra San AndresL4-6 1-6 10-68489-----------2018 Tennis world AMT Bronze July (No.1) Laura LiptakovaW7-5 6-27371-----------2018 Tennis world AMT Bronze July (No.1)Berlinda LimW6-4 6-47475-----------2018 Tennis world AMT Bronze July (No.1)Gabriella LoannouW0-6 7-6 10-7-131St Mary’s University, San Antonio Texas2018 Tennis world AMT Bronze July (No.1)Alexandra San AndresL7-6 6-38489-----------2018 Tennis World AMT Bronze MarchMystique MaljanekW6-1 6-16335-----------2018 Tennis World AMT Bronze MarchKristen AntonopoulosW7-6 1-6 10-48219-----------2018 Tennis World AMT Bronze MarchStefi WebbW5-7 6-4 10-79264-----------2018 League tennis North Suburban Juniors Tennis AssociationBianca CompuestoW8-5 8112Long Island University 2018 Tennis World AMT Bronze MarchOleksandra KalachovaL6-1 7-6990California State University, Fullerton2017 League tennis North Suburban Juniors Tennis AssociationSelamawit OuliarisW8-3---Highest =332--------2017 League tennis North Suburban Juniors Tennis AssociationHarmony MitsosW8-5---Highest=179--------2017 League tennis North Suburban Juniors Tennis AssociationKeona ML8-7---Highest=160--------2017 League tennis North Suburban Juniors Tennis AssociationEmily IoannouW8-47Highest=236--------DOUBLES RESULTS Tournament OpponentsWin/LoseScoreUTRAustralianand College Name Partner 2018 Hume Tennis and Community Centre AMT Silver Giselle AndrewLisa WhybourneL6-0 6-4711334 209 --------Selamawit OuliarisUTR = -----Australian ranking highest = 332Australian ranking current = --------2017 A.S.
