Position Title: Manager, Procurement and ReplenishmentReports To: Director, Finance and Special ProjectsDepartment: Agribusiness – Supply ChainDate Prepared:October 2020Date Evaluated:October 2020Salary Band:8 Position Summary:Reporting to the Director, Supply Chain, the Manager, Procurement and Replenishment is responsible for leading the Procurement, Replenishment and Special-Order functions for the AgriBusiness Retail team. This role is responsible for ensuring the UFA Ag Retail stores inventory service levels while adhering to budgeted inventory levels. Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:Provide strategic direction, operational accountability, and leadership for procurement, replenishment, and special order staff.Oversee procurement and replenishment deadlines, making certain expectations are met, and ensuring optimal supply chain behaviour throughout all categories.Drive inventory load-in process, product movement for marketing campaigns, redeployment and segment reviews from a procurement and replenishment standpoint. Track and monitor Inventory levels, in-stock positions, fill rates, vendor performance scorecards, and budget availability for procurement. Seek continuous improvement in supply chain practices and conducting meetings with team to track results and discuss issues.Manage high level disputes and resolve issues in conjunction with buyers and merchants, ensuring current policies and procedures are followed.Qualifications required for the position:University degree in business, logistics or other relevant field of studySCMP and/or CPA designation would be a desirable asset8 - 10 years of Progressive experience 5 years’ experience in Procurement and/or Supply Chain preferred. 5 years’ experience in People leadership- managing a team with at least 5 direct reports Agricultural background an assetExpert level Microsoft Excel and Word, Microsoft Dynamics and SAP experience preferred.Proven leadership skills which include successfully leading and coaching high-performance teams, ideally across a geographically disbursed area, to meet business objectivesSolid critical thinking, analytical and structured problem-solving skillsExcellent oral and written communication skills both on a one-on-one basis as well as in front of larger audiences ................
