TITLE PROGRAM FACILITATOR

QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Valid teacher’s license with appropriate endorsement; and

2. Administrative or supervisory experience in accordance with

state law and State Board Rules and Regulations, based on

a minimum of a master’s degree.

JOB GOAL : To provide students enrolled in the Asbury Family Resource

Center with education, training, and experience based as full as

possible on their own individual needs, desires, and

expectations, while maintaining high standards in the

educational experiences offered.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Establishes criteria for student admission into the program, and administers the admission procedures;

2. Conducts an annual in-service training workshop for teachers assigned to the program;

3. Maintains current knowledge of all pertinent rules, regulations, statues, and assures that the program meets such requirements and standards;

4. Assumes responsibility for the collection, review, and submission of all forms and reports relative to the program to the Administration, the Board, and to the State Agencies.

5. Supervises all personnel in the program and counsels them regularly on both a formal and an informal basis;

6. Meets with students that are enrolled in the program for the purpose of counseling and evaluation;

7. Prepares and administers the program’s budget; and

8. Interprets the program to the students, staff, administration, Board of Education, and the public.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This job may require lifting of objects that exceed 50 lbs., with frequent lifting and/or carrying of

objects weighing up to 25 lbs. Other physical demands that may be required are as follows:

2. Verbal: Ability to understand meanings of words and the ideas associated with them.

3. Numerical: Ability to perform arithmetic operations quickly and accurately.

4. Communication: Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
