Title: Learning To Use and Have Fun with Microsoft OneNote

Objectives

• Upon successful completion of this lesson, students will be able to clearly identify, define, and explain the features and functionality within Microsoft OneNote.

• Upon successful completion of this lesson, students will be able to relate to and uncover examples of how Microsoft OneNote can and is being utilized in the classroom.

• Upon successful completion of this lesson, students will be able to create and build their own Notebooks, section and pages within OneNote at a success rate of 80%

BODY OF LESSON

Introduction: Use of PowerPoint and YouTube, so students can understand and identify components within OneNote

Development: Reinforce understanding and knowledge through web articles and real life OneNote scenarios utilized in classroom environments

Application: Hands-on approach where we will create a page in OneNote together (recipe)

Review: Another hands on approach to reinforce all concepts learned with an emphasis on use of Tags in OneNote (Students will create a simple to do List in OneNote)

Evaluation: Combination of to do list and HW assignment that students have the option of completing in class or for the next week of class
