"Losing" those extra holiday pounds just got a little bit easier!

Glamour magazine () Executive Fashion Editor at Large Suze Yalof Schwartz (blog = ) stopped by The Early Show to show how your clothes can make you look at least ten pounds thinner:

Schwartz hosted a fashion show with four models and four "before" and "after" shots.

LOOK 1-Kailee, Minimize Stomach

DON'T The shine of this too-tight top, paired with these high-waisted pants immediately draw attention to Kailee's middle and makes her look larger. This, mixed with a dark, large buckle belt, immediately directs the eye to Kailee's stomach, as the focal point of the outfit. DO The trick to minimizing your stomach is to choose a matte fabric that fits, but is not too tightwhich will slim Kailee's middle, rather than draw attention to it. The lower and more detailed neckline of the top draws all the attention up to Kailee's face and again, away from her midsection. These low-waist pants from the Gap, sit perfectly on Kailee's hips, aren't too tight, and with her shirt un-tucked are the perfect solution to minimizing your stomach.

TIPS: DON'T 1. Wear anything shiny and tight-it will accentuate your middle. 2. High waist pants draw attention to your stomach. 3. Put the belt away-it's an eye grabber. DO 1. Find a top that doesn't hug your upper body, but is still fitted in a matte fabric. 2. Wear a lower waist pant and let your top camouflage your middle. 3. Keep your shirt un-tucked.

LOOK 2-Sarah, Minimize Bust

DON'T When tops have an empire cut and a fuller waist, this only accentuates your bust, making it look larger. The same goes for a full skirt-and when they're paired together, especially with a tucked in top, you end up looking larger all over. DO We chose this shirt by Ann Taylor Loft because the darker color still flatters and slims without being basic black. It shows off Sarah's curves and wearing it un-tucked with a sleek pencil skirt slims her entire silhouette.

TIPS: DON'T

1. Empire tops make your bust look wider and sometimes, the seams fall directly in the center of your bust. 2. Big prints make you look bigger. 3. High-waisted full skirts not only shorten your torso, but create the illusion of wide hips and thighs. DO 1. Find a solid color top to show off your d?colletage without showing cleavage. 2. Wear fitted a fitted top--don't tuck it in-it will give the illusion of a longer torso. 3. Pencil skirts will make your lower half look narrower, but again, stay away from fuller bottoms. If you'd prefer a pant with this look, try a straight leg style, which will be the most slimming. Top: Ann Taylor Loft $26.00 Skirt: Alfani at Macy's $49.00 Shoes: Sam Edelman at Piperlime $39.00

LOOK 3-Shakira, Minimize Hips and Bottom

DON'T With a pear-like shape similar to Shakira's, skinny jeans are your worst enemy: they draw attention to your hips and thighs and the whiskering on the pant shows that they're too tight and a bad fit overall. The darker color on the top immediately draws the eyes down to the bad-fitting pant. DO Reverse this by wearing a boot-cut jean, like these from Banana Republic-which are made specifically for women of this shape. By wearing a darker bottom and lighter color on top, the eyes are drawn up to Shakira's top half and face.

TIPS: DON'T 1. Wear light colored skinny jeans-they draw all the attention to your hips and thighs and accentuate them making your calves look smaller. 2. Wear a full, dark colored top. It makes you look wider, drawing the eye down to your hips and thighs. 3. If you're getting pleats in the groin area-your pants are too tight! DO 1. Wear light colored v-neck tops to draw eye up. 2. Find a pair of jeans that are smaller in waist and wider in hips. 3. Go for darker denim or bottom to even out proportions, such as bootcut, which are always slimming.

LOOK 4-Laura, Minimize All Over DON'T

This thin jersey fabric of this dress shows every bump under the sun! And, the A-line cut mixed with a high neckline and excess fabric, doesn't drape over Laura's body, widening her shapeultimately, making her look larger all over. DO The fitted, v-neck top of this dress shows off Laura's d?colletage, and the higher waistline accentuates her curves. The bottom half of this dress is a looser fit, with a shorter hem, hiding her hips and thighs, but not appearing too covered-up.

TIPS: DON'T 1. Don't wear thin cotton-it shows every lump and bump! 2. Choosing a stiff, boxy fabric makes you look bigger all over. 3. A high neckline, plus more fabric makes you look wider than a deeper neckline. DO 1. Wear a V-Neck. 2. Accentuate your waist. 3. Stick with a jersey/Lycra fabric that drapes and accentuates your curves, giving you a shapelier silhouette.
