Since its inception as a joint venture multinational in1974, QAPCO has been a leading producer of quality ethylene and low density polyethylene (LDPE) in the Middle East. Today, Qapco is not only a name synonymous with plastics but also an organization with a strict and uncompromising approach towards protecting the environment. With such a view, Qapco has endorsed an Environmental Management Policy that commits the company to:

? Identify and evaluate the environmental aspects of the company's products and activities

? Comply with all relevant applicable environmental regulations ? Establish pollution prevention programs to

systematically reduce the generation of wastes and the release of pollutants into the environment.
