Deep Learning in Radiology: How Do We Do It?

In this course, you'll learn what deep learning is, how it's being deployed in radiology and understand the challenges and benefits of creating a laboratory dedicated to machine learning. You'll also see examples from different institutions that are applying this technology to radiology.

Imaging Cognition 2018: Addiction

Monday, November 26

This fascinating session explores the ways in which radiology can be used to assess addiction. The session includes an overview of the state of addiction in America and a panel discussion. Participants will learn the basis of PET neurochemical imaging, the association between dopamine signaling and drugseeking behavior as well as other outcomes. The Use of fMRI in Addiction will provide an understanding of the neural circuit associated with cravings, and MRS in Craving with a Focus on Alcoholism will explore the theoretical reward circuitry of the human brain, among other outcomes.
