ESL Christmas Game Tongue Twisters Quiz Question Challenge is a simple activity to practice question formation with your students. In this activity students practice question formation by playing a quiz. Instead of asking students questions, the teacher tells students the answer and the students have to guess what the question is. Activity time: 10 minutes + Level: Young learners, teens and adults (A1 +) Skills practiced: Speaking and pronunciation Method 1. On the board project or write a number of tongue twisters for students to say. See below for a number of festive examples. 2. Award students points if they can say the sentence. You can extend this activity by getting higher levels students to write their own tongue twisters using festive vocabulary they have studied in class.
