Predictive Services Discussion: Dry and breezy conditions will develop across portions of the southern High Plains into the Texas Hill Country today, with a chance of isolated dry thunderstorms in portions of west Texas and far eastern New Mexico. Dry post-frontal conditions are expected across portions of the Southeast and from the western Great Basin into the Southwest. Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are forecast on portions of the southern Plains and Florida Peninsula, with scattered rain showers on the central Plains into the Midwest. Lingering snow showers are also likely across portions of the Northeast, with another round of precipitation for western Washington and northwest Oregon.
