This does not guarantee, but will increase the chance of placement in 1st choice of preferred camp week.Application Deadline is April 10th, 2020 or until all Discovery Corps openings are filled. Acceptance will be based upon remaining camp weeks available.Selected applicants will schedule themselves for group interviews based on open interview slots. Discovery Corps is open to teens entering 9th, 10th, 11th or 12th grade in Fall 2020; teens must be 14 years of age before starting to volunteering.Participants in Discovery Corps spend one week assisting the Perot Museum’s Educational staff with science themed camps, design a group project that could be used by Museum staff or guest, and interact with guests in Museum exhibit halls. Discovery Corps participants should be highly interested in science and technology with a desire to help and educate others.The Perot Museum of Nature and Science wants to ensure that we provide the best possible experience for our guests and camper children.
