CUTTING THE PANELS

First,determine

thedistance

between

thebottomof theTopBackRailandtheground.

cut Panels1" longerin warmweatherand2" longerin coldweather.Makeleveral

measurements

to determine

thedegreeof variance.

Shouldyoufindthegroundslopes,

youshouldtakea measurement

every16"(netexposure

of panel)andcut the bottom

of EachPanelon thesameangleastheground.lt is imperativethat the top of each

Panel piece be cut squareand leveledboth verticallyand horizontally:

Panelscan be cut withtin snips,largepapercutters,or a powerhandsaw

witha fine

toothedblademountedin the reverseposition.

Starting

atthelowestcorner,cutthepanelto fit thecornerafterdeterminingthe lengthas described

in StepA. Formthecornerby lightly

scoringthebacksideof thePanelwitha nailor pocketknife.Becareful

notto cuttoodeeply.AfterscoringthePanel,bendovera sharpedge

to thedesiredangle.Incoldweather,warmPanelto roomtemperature

beforeformingcorner.SeeFigure2.

Panelwith the raiseddimpleto outside(awayfrom)of mobilehome.

top and bottom rails,these dimpleswill lock the Panel in place.See

until you come to the last Panel. lt may be

necessaryto cut the last Panelto fit. When cutting, be sure to overlap the adjoining Panel.

ot #44 (1/8) rivets.
