Course and Content Information
Q: I’ve been assigned the wrong version of Core Education, what should I do? In other words, I’ve received Core Education for Health Care Workers, but I have non-healthcare worker status (NHCWS) or vice versa.
A: Please work with your manager or Chief Admin Officer to update your Health Care Worker Status (HCWS). Managers or Chief Admin Officers can review the HCW status of his/her employees in Performance Manager. If the HCW status is incorrect, please send an email to Employee Health (hcwinfo@bidmc.harvard.edu) indicating the change. It may take a few days for the status to be changed in myPATH. If the user should not be assigned the clinical module, please notify the myPATH team so that they can exempt the user from the clinical module (removing the course from his/her transcript). If the clinical module is applicable, the user will automatically be assigned the course once the HCW status is updated.
Q: I have employees who speak English as a Second Language and/or are not comfortable with computers, what should I do?
A: Group sessions of the Core Education and Compliance Education will be offered. The information will be delivered by a trainer; the images will be shown on a screen while the script is read aloud. Sessions covering the the Core Education for NonHealthcare Worker modules will be held on June 3rd and 4th while sessions covering Compliance Education will be held on June 10th and 11th. For more information please contact Lisa Leidig.
