ENTREPRENEUR PERSONALITY ACTIVITY

The content will be the characteristics you developed as a class on entrepreneur, entrepreneurship, and the character traits provided in step 3 of this worksheet.

Step 1: Complete a personality test on computer and print your results or write them down. The color personality test can be found at

Step 2: Research and define an entrepreneur and entrepreneurship utilizing the following web-sites and your books. Students should look for personality characteristics as well as a definition

Step 3: Discuss with the class what characteristics make a successful entrepreneur and write those characteristics on the board.

Step 4: Write a paragraph on why or why not you believe you will be a successful entrepreneur. Note: Be honest with your self.

Step5: Character counts in business. Define each of the following character traits

needed in business and then find two or three examples of the trait in your entrepreneur. Note: You may find the opposite trait of the definition.

Intrapersonal Character traits for business are: responsibility, contemplation, initiative, perseverance, optimism, and courage.

Interpersonal Character traits for business are respect, compassion, adaptability, honesty, trustworthiness, and loyalty.

Step 6: Take the color personality test. This time answer the questions based on your entrepreneur.

Analyze your results with your entrepreneur. Compare and contrast and share the results with your class.

Step 7: Your teacher will now give you another color test. Did the results change? Why or why not?
