9/22/20Regarding: Travel Advisory UPDATEWe have learned that effective 7/14/2020, healthcare workers traveling to states identified as hotspots are no longer exempted from the requirement to quarantine for 14 days unless the travel is work related. So, any staff who travel to a hotspot state may NOT return to work for 14 days and must quarantine during that time.? There are no exemptions even if individual has a negative test.You have an obligation to inform the facility if you travel to these areas. Executive Order Regarding Travel:?Pursuant to Governor Lamont's?Executive Order No. 7III, anyone traveling into Connecticut from a state that has a new daily positive test rate higher than 10 per 100,000 residents or a state with a 10% or higher positivity rate over a 7-day rolling average are directed to self-quarantine for a 14-day period from the time of last contact within the identified state.In addition, anyone entering from one of the identified states must fill out a travel health form upon arrival. Travelers can fill out the form online at?travelform.?As of September 22, 2020, there are states that meet the criteria and are included in Connecticut's travel advisory.
