Terms: 1/3 payment due upon start of construction. 1/3 on installation of Bond Coat; remainder upon completion.
All material is guaranteed to be as specified. All work to be completed in a workmanlike manner according to standard practices. Any alteration or deviation from the above and attached detail page two, specifications involving extra costs, will be executed only upon written orders, and will become an extra charge over and above the estimate. All agreements contingent upon strikes, accidents or delays beyond our control. This proposal subject to acceptance within 60 days and is void thereafter at the option of the undersigned.
Dispute Resolution: 1. Binding arbitration shall be the exclusive method of settling all claims, disputes and other matters in question between the parties to this agreement arising our of or relating to this agreement or the breach thereof. The local chapter of the Florida Spa and Pool Association, Arbitration Committee shall conduct arbitration proceeding and said rules are hereby incorporated by reference into the terms of this agreement. A copy of these rules can be obtained from the Contractor, or any other member of the FSPA, Arbitration Committee. Arbitration proceedings under this agreement shall be commenced by either party sending a written request for arbitration to the Chairman of the local chapter of FSPA, Arbitration Committee, together with a filing fee. Request for arbitration shall be on request for Arbitration forms that can be obtained from the local FSPA chapter, which sets forth the issues in dispute, the amount claimed as damages and the relief sought.
2. The award rendered by the arbitrator shall be final, and judgment may be entered upon it in accordance with applicable law in any court having jurisdiction thereof. Not with standing the above provisions, the parties may mutually agree to any form of Alternative Dispute Resolution to resolve any claim, dispute or controversy arising out of this agreement.

Renovate Pool
1) Drain pool.
2) Remove all loose quartz finish.
3) Undercut all fittings.
4) Acid wash pool surface.
5) Commercially waterblast pool w/6000# turbotip pressure washer.
6) Install (9) new flush mount return fittings.
7) Install new 6x6 water line tile.
8) Install new 6x6 or 4x4 gutter line tile.
9) Install new 2x6 step tile.
10) Install new 2x6 belly band tile.
11) Install new no diving and depth markers per code as needed.
12) Install (2) new vinyl handrail and bronze anchors.
13) Install (2) new vinyl crossed braced ladders.
14) Install recessed rope anchors.
15) Remove pool light, pin, form and pour . (DOH Approval Needed)
16) Remove existing coping, form, pour and install Travertine top and sides. (IF OPTION IS TAKEN)
17) Install new main drain, skimmer and return grates.
18) Apply bond coat.
19) Apply finish coat to interior of pool. (Whichever Option is Taken)
20) Refill and chemically balance water.

Galaxy Pools reserves the right to file claim of lien on any renovation over the amount of $5,000.00, released upon final payment for renovation work.
Special note: If there is no hydrostatic plug present in the bottom of the pool, please add $300.00 to the entire bid price listed on page one.
**WARRANTY INFORMATION: Each finish carries a five- (5) year manufacturer’s warranty against staining and breakdown. Please note: The product warranty does not cover separation from the existing surface. We at GALAXY POOLS feel surface preparation is paramount, which is why we always pressure wash or commercially waterblast all pools before applying a new surface. This allows us to include a five (5) year separation warranty when we waterblast. Cracking of tile may occur due to cracks in the pool shell and Galaxy Pools will not guarantee the tiles will not crack in the future.
GALAXY POOL SERVICE will provide certificates for Workmen’s Compensation and Liability coverage ($1,000,000 pop up) upon signing of contract.
