Managed system applications for the Corporate Treasury Department. Provided technical leadership in identifying, evaluating, and implementing cost-efficient solutions and related processes to address user requirements. Formulated and defined treasury-related application scope and objectives within the framework of the corporate organization. ERP – SAP, Deltec Costpoint.
Accomplishments:
• Served as Project Manager for the system implementation for the automated application of receivables via the transmission of EDI data from cash management banks into the Corporate Accounts Receivable system. Automated application rates regularly hit 80-85%, reducing department headcount.
• Helped develop and implement an in-house treasury workstation, leveraging off of a Documentum platform for process flow controls. The system was developed as a library and research tool for treasury-initiated transactions, and served as the source of cash accounting entries to the general ledger via automated interface.
• Assisted in integration of treasury systems, accounts, and processes for acquisition activity.
• Developed disaster recovery and business continuity plan for Corporate Treasury Department, effectively utilized during the San Diego wildfire emergency.
• Documented system procedures used as the basis for SOX documentation, addressing governance requirements.
