Internship Program Outline

Endless Beauty Media, LLC is a digital information source designed to provide women with ideas and information on how to leverage great health to achieve greater beauty. The Internship Program will provide applicable work experience that correlates to particular academic and degree backgrounds in fields such as; Digital Marketing, Social Media, Editorial, Video, and Public Relations all in the online space. Interns will work side by side with professionals, gaining increased responsibility and career-building skills as they progress through the program. Internship program opportunities offered at are unpaid and will last the duration of a college semester.

Internship Opportunities

Digital Marketing Internship

Digital Marketing Interns at will gain experience in building strong customer relationships, uncovering new business opportunities, advertising and promoting new products, and in general practicing the skills needed to grow a loyal customer base in the online community.

Interns should display and develop strong skill sets in the following:

- Written communication skills

- Willingness to lead

- Ability to effectively work in teams and alone, as well as communicate with diverse constituents

- Employ critical thinking, creativity, and innovation for solving problems and reaching goals

- Use of information and technology to enhance productivity and effectiveness

- High energy level and perseverance

- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

Social Media Internship

Social Media Interns at will gain experience by learning how to collect and share insights and user-experiences while interacting with a wide range of viral, social, and interactive media channels. These will include, but are not limited to, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, various blog sites, and new emerging media. The intern will chronicle experiences through video; edit and post to selected media as appropriate. He/She will monitor social media for trends in health, beauty, and relevant happenings, including pop culture news, off-the-wall stories, or anything else pertaining to ’s message in the online health and beauty space.

The Interns should display and develop strong skill sets in the following:

- Monitor and engage in conversations with various client and company social media platforms

- Intercept buzz and comment on specific client-focused topics and conversations

- Strengthen social media presence on respective platforms by blogging, drafting discussions regarding topics relevant to client’s industry, and engaging key publics

- Compile lists of key industry forums, conversations, and topic areas

- Utilize social media tools to optimize activity on platforms

- Must be able to work on MS Word and Excel, and possess good business writing skills

- Social media knowledge and strategy is encouraged

Editorial Internship

Editorial Interns at will gain experience in article research, fact checking, proofreading, writing articles, participating in staff editorial meetings, and interviewing subjects. Highly motivated individuals will be given the opportunity to write articles and blog posts. Interns should be dedicated, hard working, conscientious, and fun-loving, with a career interest in writing and editing. Previous journalism experience—either with local publications or your student newspaper—is beneficial.

The Intern should display and develop strong skill sets in the following:

- Proofreading articles for spelling or grammatical errors and factual inaccuracies, demonstrating knowledge of AP Style, and using standard proofreading symbols

- Ability to rewrite materials to better fit the publication’s editorial policy

- Choosing artwork to accompany articles and essays and help organize page layouts

- Understanding of how online writing differs from print journalism.

- Online written and editorial communication skills

Video Production Intern

Video Production Interns at will gain experience in all aspects of production from planning a shoot to editing with Final Cut Pro and After Effects. A strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn all aspects of production are essential elements of this internship. Applicants should take direction very well. Listening skills and attention to detail are very important. Any knowledge of videography and/or media equipment is a plus. Any base knowledge of Final Cut Pro and After Effects programs is a plus but not required.

Duties will include: Administrative responsibilities, being on hand during shoots to help with props, lighting, and talent, reserving and picking up equipment, scheduling and confirming shoot times, researching pop-culture trends, and writing. Assistant will need to have thorough knowledge of the Internet, and familiarity with You Tube is a must. Also must be in tune with popular culture and trending topics. Strong writing skills needed.

The Intern should display and develop strong skill sets in the following:

- Strong writing skills

- Thorough knowledge of the Internet and familiarity with YouTube

- Staying to up date with popular culture and trending topics

- Organization and punctuality in regards to having material ready by its due date, answering emails, and timeliness during video shoots

- Familiarity with optimizing views through SEO

Public Relations Intern

Public Relations Interns at will gain experience by supporting the Public Relations Coordinator. The Intern will participate in writing and editing press releases, media outreach, media monitoring, researching, and working with our PR agency out of New York.

Interns should display and develop strong skill sets in the following:

- Written and verbal communication skills

- Willingness to lead

- Ability to effectively work in teams and alone, as well as communicate with diverse constituents

- Employ critical thinking, creativity, and innovation for solving problems and reaching goals

- Use of information and technology to enhance productivity and effectiveness

- High energy level and perseverance

- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
