Here are all of your Phase 4 tricky words Your job is to make a poster with all of these tricky words on. You can make it as bright and colourful as you would like, just make sure it has your tricky words on. Extension: Pick a tricky word, set a timer for 30 seconds- 2 minutes. Let’s See how many times you can write that tricky word down in the amount of time given. Can you beat your score if you did it again? You could even do it with more than one tricky word. Extra challenge: How many times can you write all of those tricky words in 2 minutes?Reading:Read this book with an adult and discuss what you liked and disliked in the story.Can you draw a picture of your favourite part of the story and write 1 sentence about why it is your favourite part? the story you read for reading it was all about washing hands. Can you write a set of instructions about how to wash your hands? Remember to include the key features when writing instructions; title, bullet points, time adverbials- first, then, next, after that, finally and pictures.Also do not forget to write in full sentences, remembering to include your capital letters, finger spaces and full stops!Maths: doubling and halvingLast week you looked at doubling. This week you will look at doubling and halving to solve problems. What does the word half mean? Remember if I wanted half of 4 it would equal 2. Can you complete the quiz to see how much you can remember? Then move on to the next activity and have a lesson, there are some problems for you to think about. Topic:In geography you are all going to be geographers. We have been learning about the 7 continents. Can you write down the 7 continents that we know? Here are the first letters of each. If you are finding it a little hard, you could look at a map of the world to help you.
