Rules and Setup for the Follow-up Trivia Game

1. Split the class up into 3 groups.

2. Have the teacher select which group goes first, second, and third by a random drawing.

3. Round #1 is a multiple choice round with three categories and each category has 3 questions ranging in value from 100 – 300 points (see table below).

4. Round #2 is a direct question and answer round with three categories and each category has 3 questions ranging in value from 400 – 600 points (see table below).

5. During rounds 1 and 2, each group must select one person to give the answer for the group. The group is allowed to talk quietly amongst themselves in order to come up with the right answer but if someone else in the group or from another group yells out the answer, that group will lose the number of points that the question is worth. The group answering the question has 30 seconds to come to a consensus.

6. If a group can’t answer a question, then the same question goes to the other groups, until the question is answered or until the question comes back to the original group.
