Troubleshooting Instructions for Consortia Lead Consolidated Plan DownloadThere is a known issue with the Microsoft Word download feature that does not allow Consortia lead grantees to generate Microsoft Word downloads of their Consolidated Plans in IDIS. This issue was created with the most recent update of the MicroStrategy application and will be corrected in the next IDIS update, currently scheduled for November 2014.In the meantime, Consortia leads must follow the instructions below to generate a Microsoft Word version of the Consortia Lead component of the Consortia Consolidated Plan, instead of using the “Generate as Word document” button on the ConPlan main menu screen. Plans downloaded using these instructions will include:Consortia lead Component of the Consortia Consolidated Plan:Executive SummaryAll Needs Assessment ScreensAll Market Analysis ScreensAll Strategic Plan ScreensAll Annual Action Plan ScreensPlans downloaded using these instructions will not include:Any Consortia Participating Grantee components of the Consortia Consolidated Plan.Consortia Participant plans may be downloaded independently by using the “Generate as Word Document” button on the main menu screen of each Consortia Participant Plan.Instructions for Consortia Leads to download Consortia Lead component of a Consortia Consolidated Plan:Open the Consortia Lead Plan that you want to download.Click the icon below:Click “Open” in the resulting pop-up window.A new tab will open in your browser containing an alternate screen for downloading the Consortia Lead component of a Consortia Consolidated Plan.NOTE: Ensure that the alternate screen opens in the same browser you are using to access the plan you are downloading.NOTE: If the file does not open as described above you may need to:Right click on the icon in the Word documentHighlight Packager Shell Object Select "Activate Contents"In the new pop up box, click “Open” Open one of the Annual Action Plan screens in the plan you wish to download (AP-15, for example).Your browser’s address bar will display a text string that includes “cpid=” and “aapId=”. These are the numbers IDIS uses to identify your plans. An example of this URL is provided below with these the “cpid” value highlighted in blue and the “aapId” value highlighted in green.Copy the “cpid” value and paste into the field labeled “Con Plan ID (cpid)” on the alternate screen for downloading the Consortia Plan Component (see screenshot below)Copy the “aap” value and paste into the field labeled “AAP ID (aapid)” on the alternate screen for downloading the Consortia Plan Component Select the “Download entire Consolidated Plan” radio button and any uploaded attachments that you would like to include.
