Comments____As of 2nd grade, differentiation needs will be mainly addressed in mathematics. However, as English reading becomes tested more in third grade and above, differentiation plans will be put in place for Julian based on results from tests such as MAP, SRI, and OCCT. In math, Julian will continue to advance a grade and receive E’s or A’s in the previous grade’s curriculum on PowerSchool. The instructing teacher in math will communicate with Julian’s parents both his strengths and areas for improvement. With the Think Through Math online program, Julian may work at his own pace and may advance to even higher grade levels should he complete all of the levels one grade level above with advanced proficiency. If students are working on math in his current grade level, he may work on things he missed while being in his math class. He may also work on math assignments from his math class or the Think Through Math program. Should Julian show signs of struggle at any point, all parties involved will meet to review this PEP._______
