TYPES OF CHARACTERS
1. Round Character- a character with many character traits
We learn about his childhood; we find out other flashbacks about him; we learn his fears and flaws, or favorite food etc.

2. Flat Character- a character with one character trait
We only know one thing from him/her/it; for example they’re MEAN, STINGY, or BOSSY.

3. Static Character- a character who does NOT undergo change in his attitude or way of thinking. S/he stays MEAN, STINGY, or BOSSY.

4. Dynamic Character- a character who DOES undergo a change in his attitude or way of thinking

5. Stock Character or Archetype- a character with stereotypical character traits or personality traits (e.g. Damsel in Distress, Knight in Shining Armor, Evil Clown, Zombie, Mad Scientist, Monster, Town Bully)

6. Foil Characters- are a pair of characters with opposite character traits
