This is a pointed arch of 13th century style, ornamented with three roughly carved heads, the doorway being 6 ft. 10 ins. high by 3 ft. 1 in wide. It is of the same period and style as the similar doorway at Dacre Castle, the latter being 6 ft. 8 ins, by 4ft. 2 ins.
