If a student has three or more tests scheduled on the same day, the student should contact the three teachers and request that one test date be changed. Protect your secrets. Don’t assume that people online will see you the way you think they’ll see you. It’s always important to respect other people’s privacy choices, even if they aren’t the choices you make for yourself.Be Internet Kind Follow the Golden Rule. Be an upstander. Stand up for kindness and positivity.Do simple actions to turn negative interactions in the positive ones. Make decisions when choosing what to say and how to deliver it. Spread kindness online.Be Internet Alert Double check the site for credibility. Use secure websites. Don’t fall for scams. Tell a parent if you think you have been scammed.Only download GCS approved programs.Be Internet Brave If you see/hear something negative, Say something! Talk things out calmly. Ask for help.Report and/or block inappropriate content. Get proof of inappropriate content by taking a screenshot. Report anything that makes you uncomfortable.In addition, individual teachers will review their own netiquette expectations with students at the start of the school year.NWHS Schedules and Orientation InformationThe first three weeks (Aug. 17 – Sept. 5) serve as an orientation period for students. During this time, students will also participate in a one-on-one virtual orientation meeting with their 4th period/Homeroom teacher.
