OUR FUTURE

More Scholarships. This academic year, over 300 students with financial need applied for scholarships. We were able to help 140 of the applicants with $145,000 in aid.

Expansion. Our waitlist is over 1,400 students. The BSC hopes to increase bed spaces through development, partnership with UC Berkeley, new acquisitions, and/or re-opening Barrington Hall in 2025.

Seismic Retrofits. The cost of retrofitting all our properties just to meet lifesafety standards is projected to cost over $25 million.
