We realize you may not know about all of the outside scholarships you will be receiving until late spring. However, please submit this form to our office with the scholarships you have been notified about by July 1st, 2017. If you receive additional scholarships after you have submitted your original form, please submit a new form and write "REVISED" anywhere at the top.

Please submit this completed form whether or not you are receiving outside aid. If possible, please include a copy of your scholarship notification letter, email notification, certificate, etc. Please submit this form to our office by July 1st, 2017.

State and Federal regulations require us to incorporate any outside aid into your financial aid award. If you are receiving outside aid, the St. Olaf outside aid policy is as follows:

In general, outside scholarships are added to the package already offered by St. Olaf. However, if you receive a need-based award, federal regulations may require us to make adjustments to the package. In those cases, the reductions will be made between student employment and the Federal Direct Subsidized Stafford Loan. If a student receives enough outside aid to eliminate the self-help portion of the package and the student's need has been fully met, only then will the needbased St Olaf grant be reduced.

Please follow these steps if your scholarship requires the following: 1) Proof of enrollment: Contact the Registrar's office at 507-786-3015 or by e-mail at registrar@stolaf.edu after you have enrolled for classes in the fall. They will provide you with proof of enrollment. 2) Transcript of grades: Contact the Registrar's office at 507-786-3015 or by e-mail at registrar@stolaf.edu. They will need a signed request from you to release your grades to the scholarship representative. 3) Fee Statement: This will be mailed to you in August. For a paid fee statement, contact the Student Accounts office at 507-786-3296 or e-mail them at tuition@stolaf.edu.

No student loans will be processed until this form has been completed and submitted to our office. After we have reviewed your outside aid, your financial aid award will be finalized.
