Gender Studies Program

■ Friends of Sharon Marglous Memorial Scholarship

Award: $750

Application Deadline: 09 April 2010

Criteria: Student 25 years or older, in transition, resident of St.

Louis city or county, demonstrating academic promise.

Preference for female recipient. Certificate earner preferred.

Full-time student.

■ Women as Leaders of Tomorrow Scholarship

Award: Up to $1,500

Application Deadline: 09 April 2010

Criteria: Undergraduate WGS Certificate seeker, cumulative 2.5

GPA, serious financial need. Requires FAFSA application

submitted to Financial Aid Office by March 15. Full-time

student.

■ Robert and Fern Mreen Scholarship

Award: Up to $1,500

Application Deadline: 09 April 2010.

Criteria: Undergraduate WGS Certificate seeker, cumulative 2.5

GPA, serious financial need. Requires FAFSA application

submitted to Financial Aid Office by March 15. Full-time

student.

■ The Alan Ross Achievement Scholarship

(Undergraduate and Graduate)

Award: $2,500

Application Deadline: 09 April 2010

Criteria: Full-time undergraduate WGS Certificate seeker, cumulative 3.0 GPA.

Application materials must include transcripts, two letters of recommendation, and a one-page formal letter of application outlining qualifications for each specific scholarship you are seeking (each scholarship must have a separate application) as well as significance of women’s and gender studies to your life goals. Applications that do not meet these criteria will not be considered. Send materials to Scholarship Committee, GS, 212 Clark Hall.
