Jocelyne Roy-Vienneau Undergraduate Engineering Scholarships for Women

The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of New Brunswick (APEGNB) has created the Jocelyne Roy-Vienneau Undergraduate Engineering Scholarships for Women in honour of New Brunswick's first female engineer Lieutenant Governor and in support of its commitment to working towards increasing the number of women in the engineering profession.

Two scholarships of $3000 each will be awarded to female engineering undergraduate students entering their 2nd year or higher of full-time study: one (1) at the University of New Brunswick (Fredericton or Saint John) and one (1) at the Universit? de Moncton.

The successful candidate will be a leader in their community and act as a role model to other young women to encourage them to pursue a career in engineering. Applicants must be in good academic standing.

The scholarship recipients must be agreeable to having their image and or name used in APEGNB materials promoting Women in Engineering and may be asked to give a presentation to middle or high school girls about why they chose to study engineering.

Applicants will be scored on Leadership, volunteer activity, and academic standing.
