Four absences are allowed each nine weeks.
I. CLASS PARTICIPATION/BEHAVIOR GRADE ( 75 Points)
The heart of this class will be based on analysis and class discussion. If you do not like to read or participate in class discussions, this class is not for you. You will be expected to discuss subject matter in a mature, respectful, intelligent manner. We want personal opinions and feelings, but we do not want personal attacks of other people that may slander their character. If you don’t participate you will get a poor participation grade.

* Drinks and gum are fine but no food.
* If you skip class it is a zero for all points that day and handbook punishment.
