Steps to change the theme of the blog:

1. When logged on as the Administrator of the Blog, go to the dashboard.

2. Click on the “Presentation” tab. This, by default, will take you to the theme sub-tab, which is where you need to go to change the theme.

The page shows the current theme selected for the blog at the top. Shown below that is a selection of themes available for the user to choose from. Clicking on a theme will automatically change the blog’s theme and refresh the page (note: a notification at the top of the screen will tell you if the theme change was successful or not).

If you do not like the themes that are available, WordPress maintains a theme gallery at where users can upload different themes to their blog. However, this feature is better left for advance users and will not be addressed in this manual.

Steps to access the Theme Editor of the blog:

1. When logged on as the Administrator of the Blog go to the dashboard.

2. Click on the “Presentation” tab.

3. Click on the “Theme Editor” sub-tab.

This page allows the administrator to manually edit the properties of the themes saved to your blog. To edit a theme select a theme from the drop-down box at the top of the page. By default it should have your current theme selected. On the right side on the page is the theme files you can modify and on left side is the code for the theme file currently selected. This function is best left to advanced users because any change could affect your blog appearance and functionality; however none of the files are editable so no changes can be made.
