FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Will my deposit account change?
Your account number will remain the same and, in many cases, your account Terms & Conditions will also remain the same as those of your current UCB account, however your account type name may change. Please refer to Pages 6-8 for more information about your new account type, including many new features and benefits.
Will there be any changes to my Direct Deposit or ACH Transactions?
NO. You will not need to make any changes initially. If your current account routing number is 081227129 (this number, used to identify your bank, is most commonly found on your checks to the left of your account number), you will not need to make any changes. If your routing number is 071108407, it will need to be changed the next time you order checks. With either number, you will not need to change or update any direct deposit instructions or ACH agreements you currently have in place. Please note: this does not apply to any automatic payments that use your debit card. Please see ATM/Debit card question below for more information.
Can I use my current checks until they are gone, or will I receive new checks?
You may continue to use your current UCB checks until they are gone. Future check orders will be for Mercantile checks. If you are low or out of UCB checks, you may order new Mercantile checks at any time to be used after September 18.
