Senior Instructional Designer - 332677

Position Description: Positions in this function are responsible for conducting training needs analysis for the business and developing all training materials, communications and activities to meet the organization's job/role requirements. Involves conducting ongoing evaluations and assessments to ensure effectiveness of programs and recommending/ implementing modifications as necessary. May work with SMEs to obtain training content. May include design and development of online and web-based training materials.

Primary Responsibilities:

Designing and developing instructor-led and web-based training materials. Serving as the subject matter expert (SME) regarding electronic training tools. Working to roll out strategic training to the organization, including conducting train the trainer sessions. Conducting ongoing evaluations and assessments to ensure program effectiveness and

recommending/implementing modifications as necessary.

Qualifications:

5+ years Instructional Design experience 4+ years experience utilizing a formalized design process 2+ years experience developing training content using Captivate, Articulate, Lectora, or other Web

Based Training tool 2+ experience developing instructor-led training Intermediate level of skill with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint Bachelor's degree required

Assets:

Experience defining problem-based learning solutions Experience with level 3 evaluations Experience with assessments for learning Experience with formative and/or summative evaluations Master's degree preferred
