CASA of Franklin County Hires Kevin Greenwood as Executive DirectorNovember 29, 2018 / Columbus, Ohio – Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Franklin County, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization with a mission to provide a powerful and consistent voice in court for?child victims of abuse and neglect, has hired Kevin Greenwood as executive director. -3810046609000Greenwood will act as the chief administrative officer of CASA, responsible for strategic planning, organizational management, and community relations, as well as meeting fundraising goals and volunteer objectives. He will serve as the Board of Directors liaison, overseeing all program staff and volunteers. Greenwood has served as the CASA of Franklin County Director of Development since October, 2017, responsible for implementing an integrated fundraising and marketing strategy and the general oversight and day-to-day-operations of fundraising activities, marketing, and special events. Prior to joining CASA, Greenwood was Franklin University’s Director of Alumni Engagement and Development where for six years he managed all aspects of alumni engagement and fundraising efforts, including internal, annual and plannedgiving, corporate relations, sponsorships, and events.He also previously held roles with the Delaware County Cultural Arts Center, Jazz Arts Group and the Columbus Symphony Orchestra which provided him with a great deal of development, finance, fundraising, marketing, and programming experience. Kerr served in the role for seven years and was responsible for CASA increasing its operating budget and the number of children served, as well as raising CASA’s visibility among the community. “Kathy was a dedicated and passionate leader for CASA of Franklin County for many years, and we were lucky to have her. She has been a tremendous ambassador for CASA,“ said Nancy Heller, CASA of Franklin County’s President, Board of Trustees. “While we’re sad to see Kathy go, we’re incredibly excited for Kevin to take over the helm and we have full confidence in his ability to successfully lead the organization.”About CASA of Franklin CountyFounded in 1991, CASA of Franklin County provides a link between concerned community volunteers and abused and neglected children in need of a powerful voice to speak up for their best interest. CASA recruits, trains and supports community volunteers to advocate for abused and neglected children.
