Applications for the University of Montana football and men's basketball play-by-play position are now being accepted. Responsibilities also include associated radio coaches shows.

The position will start with the 2016 football season.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicants must have at least three years of NCAA football AND basketball play-by-play experience (not including college radio), or NFL, NBA or nationally syndicated play-by-play. Absolutely no exceptions.

Ideal candidate will be willing to relocate or will already reside in the Missoula, Montana area.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Please be very careful to follow these instructions precisely. All inclusions are mandatory unless otherwise noted:

* Applications are being accepted by email only.

* Put Montana in the subject line of your email

* Do not send a cover letter. Instead, state in your email in no more than two sentences your qualifications that match those published in the position description. Again, at least three years of NCAA football AND basketball play-by-play experience (not including college radio), or NFL, NBA or nationally syndicated play-by-play.

* It is strongly preferred that candidates submit their demos and resumes by including in their email cover letter the link to a personal website or STAA Talent Page where those items are featured.

* If you don't have a website, please upload one football and one basketball audio sample to (it's free), then include the links in your email application.

* Do not send audio as email attachments.

* Football audio should be one continuous segment, minimum 8 minutes.

* Basketball audio should be one continuous segment, minimum 8 minutes.

* Do not send dramatic, late-game sequences.

* If you are NOT sending the link to a personal website or webpage that features your resume, then attach your resume to your email. Resume attachments must be in pdf format. Please title it lastname-firstname.pdf (Ex: smith-joe.pdf).

Applying for more than one of the four jobs for which STAA is currently screening (Power 5, Colorado State, Montana, Toledo)?

Simply send one email but write the names of the schools in the subject line. Ex: Power 5, Colorado State, Montana.
