General Profile of the City of Kelsey

The population of the City of Kelsey is approximately 625,000. The type of people who live in the community prefer the small town atmosphere with the amenities a big city has to offer. Many of the communities were developed by top rated builders offering exquisite parks, lakes and golf courses. The community offers something for the young and the old capturing a diverse span of ages. If one likes adventure there are many trails and hills surrounding the community for hiking and biking. In addition to the residential appeal the community offers great corporate sites and business to entice businesses. The community was founded in 1932 and prides itself on preserving the natural resources and remains a close-knit community.

The community offers a variety of jobs from large corporations that build home offices because of the pristine business location to retail positions that sell very unique items. Kelsey has its own hospital and clinic along with dentistry and eye care offering a variety of jobs in the medical field. The emergency response unit offers careers in fire and ambulance services. One can find other jobs in the utility field that includes electricity, water and waste management along with law enforcement as Kelsey has its own prison and is one of the finest in the country. Kesley has its own high school, middle school and grade school offering a variety careers in education. In addition to the community careers many large companies have found home in Kelsey adding a variety of careers in trucking, construction, engineering, organic grown foods to technology consulting.

The city offers a several transportation avenues and because it prides itself on preserving the natural resources many hybrid car models are available. Kelsey offers public transportation of both buses and light rail if you prefer to protect the environment. In addition because it focuses on clean environment it offers many bicycle routes for those choosing this as the mode of transporation.

The city offers many parks and recreations. It has its own country club with a prestine golf course and the club is own year round. Lake Lora offers many water recreational activities. In addition to the lake Kelsey has a river that flows along the border of town and offers fishing, boating and canoeing along with a ferry to the island. It is home to its own aquatic center offering an outdoor pool and a heated indoor pool for the cooler months. Kelsey has its own recreation center and offers computers for public use. The City Park is a great location for family picnics and has basketball and volleyball courts and softball and soccer fields. In addition to all this Kelsey offers a arts and crafts center for those interested in painting and pottery among other things for all ages.

This community has a heritage of preserving the natural resources and does so in the focus on maintaining pristine lakes and river along with reducing pollution as it focuses transportation that reduces pollution. The community has a wide range of clean activities the promote the healthy atmosphere that it strives for.

The community is engaged in many activities a few during the spring and summer months give you a taste for the type of community Kelsey is. The community has an annual balloon festival, and a monthly farmers market promoting home grown healthy foods, a St. Patricks day parade, a craft fair promoting the arts and crafts center along with softball and golf tournaments leveraging the park and country club facilities. In addition to all this it hosts an annual 10K Marathon showcasing the beautiful paths and hills the town has.

The community is a very healthy and focuses on a clean environment and doing the civic duty of protecting the natural resources and reducing pollution.
