ADVANCED PLACEMENT CREDIT (Effective Fall 2019)

THE UNIVERSITY OF SCRANTON

ADVANCED PLACEMENT CREDIT

In keeping with our Jesuit tradition, The University of Scranton rewards qualified students who have demonstrated a commitment to academic excellence. We understand the effort required of high school students to complete Advanced Placement (AP) courses. Students interested in gaining academic credit from The University of Scranton for AP courses should reference this sheet for more information on courses and their corresponding college credit.

Although credit may be earned through approved/accredited articulation agreements, college credit, International Baccalaureate (IB) or transfer courses, please keep in mind that credits for a specific course may be granted only once.

Students interested in earning credit for AP courses must have AP testing results sent to The University of Scranton (school code 2929). You can specify that your results be sent to us at the time you take the test.
