All Placement tests are conducted online via Sakai. Make sure to complete both the math AND English placement tests. We strongly encourage you to complete the practice problems found in the Placement Test Information Bulletin ().
✓ You must place into Math 135 (Calculus) AND English 101 (Expos) to be eligible for this program.

Brief Directions on How to Take Your Placement Exams
Reminder: You must place into Math 135 and English 101 to be eligible for the Summer Chemistry, Math, and English Prep Program
• After you commit to Rutgers, you will need to activate your NetID. Go to:
• On the left hand side of the page, click “NetID Activation” and you should arrive at the page below:

• Complete your NetID activation by filling out your information!
• Please read over the Placement Exam Information:
• Make sure to read the Placement Testing Information Bulletin for details on when and how to take the Placement Exams and to learn what material will be covered for both English AND Math.
• Use the practice problems found in the Placement Testing Information Bulletin to study.
Hint: Use your old SAT or ACT books to help brush up on both English and math concepts.
• After you activate your NetID, you should gain access to Sakai in a few days (this may take more than 3 days). Go to:

• Use your NetID and password to access Sakai. After you have studied for the Placement Exams, go ahead and take them! Good luck!
• When you receive the results of your Placement Exam, please email us where you were placed!
• After you complete your Placement Exam, make sure that you get your two letters of recommendation (1 science and 1 math) and that you write your personal statement!
• Make sure that ODASIS has received all of your Application Materials by May 31st, 2016!
Reminder: If you did not place into Math 135 (Calculus) and English 101 (Expos), you are STILL eligible to participate in the Biology/ Math JUMPSTART program 8/22 – 8/26. For more information on this program, please contact Sonia Orjuela at Orjuela@DLS.Rutgers.Edu or (848-445-3491)
Additionally, you are STILL eligible to participate in other ODASIS academic support programs in the Fall- simply come to Nelson A201 on Busch Campus during the first week of classes!
