Highlights/Up Next

? Scoring Defense: LSU's scoring defense is picking up where it left off last season. The Tigers only allowed 49 points in the season opener against UNO on Nov. 5 and have an average of 56.3 points allowed per game. LSU has held opponents at 50 points or lower in two of three games so far this season.

? Battle of the Boards: LSU has won or tied the battle of the boards in two of three games played so far this season.

? Mitchell's Marks: Senior Ayana Mitchell earned her 1,000th career point on Nov. 5, becoming the 33rd Lady Tiger to reach the milestone. She finished with 15 points and 13 rebounds on the night for her 28th career double-double.

? Mitchell Entering Rare LSU Territory: Ayana Mitchell is sitting at 1,022 points and 749 rebounds, the countdown is on to see if Mitchell can become just the 4th Lady Tiger to join the 1,000 Points-1,000 Rebounds Club. She would join the ranks of Maree Jackson (1976-78), Julie Gross (1976-80) and Sylvia Fowles.

She had 19 points, the closest anyone has come to matching another Louisiana native who scored 27 against Arizona in her collegiate debut in 2002, LSU legend Seimone Augustus.

? 30-Year Milestone: Play-by-play announcer Patrick Wright is celebrating his 30th season calling LSU women's basketball. He will be joined throughout the season by Jeff Palermo.
