Meeting Minutes
October 5, 2015
The Arlington Colt Tennis Booster Cub meeting was held on Monday, October 5, 2015. Rebecca Rodgers called the meeting to order at 6:30 P.M.
The following Booster Club members were present: A total of 12 people were in attendance.
The highlights from the meeting included:
Approving the Officers/Committee members for the Arlington Junior High Booster Club.
-President/Marketer Rebecca Rodgers
-V. President- Jennifer Brooks
-Secretary- Wendy Muransky Utter
-Assistant Treasure: Susan Anderson
-Banquet Coordinators: Susan Anderson, Sean Feagan, Francisca Rubio, and Stacey Farr (These members will be working with the High School Banquet Coordinators Ms. Garcia and Ms. Perez). We will be doing a joint Banquet with the High School students this year.
-Fundraising Committee: Brook Todd, Isabel Coria Macoco
-Enriching Lives Committee: Rebecca Rodgers and Nicole Hubbard
We briefly discussed the Bylaws that the organization needs to approve and adopt. I requested that the members read over them and come prepared with feedback to our next meeting. Our next Meeting will be on Monday, November 2, 2015.
We discussed upcoming events:
a. AJH/High School Monthly Spirit Night. We will have our first one Thursday, October 22, 2015 @ Corner Bakery on Cooper/Arbrook.
b. We will be selling concessions at our home duels/tournaments. Arlington High School is sponsoring this month's Southwest Tennis Circuit tournament on October 17, 2015 and we will be selling concessions during this event. We are also selling concession on October 27th during our @ home duel. Please sign-up using the Sign-Up Genius link:
Reminders were given: October 10th- away tournament being held at Aledo H.S. Please arrive by 8:10. The buses will depart at 8:15. The address for the school is: 1000 Bailey Ranch Rd, Aledo, TX 76008. Please send money with you student/s. They will be stopping for lunch.
October 20th- This has been changed to an away game and is held in Alvarado. The bus will pick students up at their compass. They will stop for dinner, so please send money with your students.
The members decided to continue holding Booster Meetings on the first Monday of every Month.
The next meeting was scheduled for Monday, November 2, 2015.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:05 p.m.
