If you need a name badge, please call Brenda in the church office (706-324-2424) to make one for you. Thank you for wearing your badge to worship.

STOP HUNGER NOW

I received word that the meals we packed on April 6 for Stop Hunger Now have shipped in a container totaling

285,120 meals. The meals will be received by the in-country partner Reach Now International in Haiti. The meals will enable Fishers of Men ministries to feed more than 2600 children in need through 12 school feeding programs. These programs are located in the poorest areas in Haiti and offer disadvantaged children a chance to receive a stable education and a hot meal each school day. These children come from families who often cannot consistently supply even one meal per day for their children.

LOVE OFFERING

Our Staff Parish Relations Committee wants to join the Wynnton congregation in honoring Frank & Beth Parr for serving our church. Frank will be retiring and his last Sunday with us will be June 5th. He and Beth have given tirelessly of themselves in all areas of our church. We will honor them with a church wide luncheon on June 5th after the 11:00 service. As part of our celebration, we will present them with a love offering to let them know how much we appreciate the blessing they have been to our church, as well as assist with their moving expenses. Between now and May 29 you can make a contribution to the love offering. We look forward to this time when we share our appreciation for Frank & Beth.
